showers. but i think the best chance is this afternoon. this is puerto rico and the u.s. and brit fish virgin islands. haiti and bahamas and florida. it could take to across florida and into the gulf of mexico by the end of the weekend. they capped the well, but there's still a lot of oil out there floating around. it looks like a strong tropical storm or minimal hurricane. we're looking for the chance of storms firing up. it will feel like close to 100. and some of the storms could be strong to severe this afternoon like we've had the last couple days. leftover patchy fog down to 74. as we head into tomorrow itself, we drop the humidity a little bit and it goes to at least 95. right now 5:19 and look at that traffic. >>> we have minor incidents working this morning and debris reported on the eastbound side of the bay bridge and a disabled vehicle in the roadway out in westminster at ridge road and kate wagner road. as you take a look at our drive times, you're not going to encounter too many problems. 695 is looking good all the way afternoon and as we look at our drive times, 795 is

. an attorney for the church submitted a 75-page brief. the u.s. supremet , albert snyder is sewing the church claiming the first amendment didn't allow the protesters to disrupt his right for a peaceful funeral. >>> table games start in pennsylvania and also at the hollywood casino in charles town. we're dealing with the slots issue in anne arundel county. the state court of appeals has agreed to hear an appeal. last month, the circuit court judge said the casino zoning bill was part of an appropriations package and couldn't go onto the ballot. the high court will hear these arguments coming up on july 20th. >>> with summer in full swing your air conditioner is running overtime but it doesn't have to. >> an annapolis resident is reduces his bill with a common sense approach. >> reporter: with the thermometer soaring higher and higher, so are our electric bills, but not for gerald winegrad. >> we got this $18.26 electric bill. >> reporter: did i hear that right? $18.26? i guess he's right. gerald and his wife live in an almost 1800 square foot house and can pull it off with simple measures. >>

from baltimore making a big difference in iraq. kevin borcowski is showing how u.s. personnel are helping to train iraqis in bomb disposal. >> our goal here is to get the iraqi bomb disposal unit to a point where we can withdraw and they can take over and continue the mission. >> borcowski says the training focuses on changing tactics of the enemy. >>> they say this is the biggest project they've ever done, thanks to mother nature, it's now the most challenging. the site for the extreme makeover home edition is a huge muddy mess this morning. sherrie johnson joins us in the studio with the progress. >> day 5 of the extreme makeover home edition. the heavy rain hasn't made this an easy project. crews are working hard to build a home for the girl's hope foundation. last night another storm blew through, this time the home was more secure with a tarp on the room. the design team hopes to reveal the home friday afternoon. this 11,000 square feet home is the largest project in the show's 7 year history. with all the rain the drywall got wet. crews spent a lot of time drying it out.

and baby bottles. the study named giants like mcdonald's, safeway, and the u.s. post office as handing out bpa receipts. >> we aren't sure how much could come in through the skin, but this is an exposure we should pay attention to, considering data shows 93% of us have this chemical in our body. >> various studied linked bpa to health issues. the legislature is currently trying to ban the chemical from children's products. for receipts, the bpa used to coat for thermal paper. >> since the paper has bpa, it can wipe off on to our fingers. >> american chemistry council says receipts contain low levels of bpa. in fighting california's ban on baby products last month, the group sited other major studies that says the chemical is fine. >> you have to look at the data collectively. the collective data, the scientific bodies concluded that bpa is safe. >> exeans like starbucks, target, and banks of america use bpa-free paper. shoppers we spoke with want to be more careful. >> i'm really going to continue to wash my hands really good. i don't want to touch them after this. this is a shock to
